Below on the right is my first drawing at UCF. Below on the left is a similar still life towards the end of drawing two.

I entered UCF with zero knowledge of drawing, which seems to be borderline unheard of. I learned photoshop before I learned anything about drawing beyond coloring books and doodles as a child. I feel my drawing classes at UCF show my ability to learn new things more than anything else. While I feared drawing more than any of my other courses, I entered with an open mind determined to learn as I felt the university would not force me through such a difficult course without a reason. I knew I needed to give it my all to understand that reason. Now I recognize my vector drawings have improved and I am incredibly happy to have non digital work I can feel good about.
